The main characters, Zhang Yutian and Zhang Yajuan, were born in a place where they did not belong and lived their childhood in a country where they did not belong. What they have in them is the spirit of a new age teenager. As students, theirs has an extraordinary charm, and because of their strength, they have unusual experiences. All the misfortunes they endured. Student life should be gray, but they prefer to challenge the mandatory rules with color pencils to show their individuality. Everything plain and extraordinary is their inner world. The story begins with their parents falling in love, which leads to their origins. The prologue focuses on their parents' romantic relationship, and what follows is their life experiences. Then their parents turn against each other, separate, develop their own careers, and leave the two of them behind.
